Meghan Markle’s Suits co-star, Patrick J. Adams, delighted fans by sharing a previously unseen on-set photo of the former actress.
Patrick, who played Meghan’s love interest Mike Ross opposite her character Rachel Zane on the popular US legal drama, posted the nostalgic snapshot after releasing a new episode of his podcast series.
The actor co-hosts Sidebar alongside Suits alum Sarah Rafferty, who portrayed legal secretary Donna Paulsen. The black-and-white photo of Meghan captures her looking off-camera in a black V-neck outfit, complemented by a delicate wishbone necklace and her signature brunette waves cascading over her shoulders.
Fans quickly flooded the comments with admiration for the photograph and nostalgia for Suits, many expressing the same request: “Invite Meghan, please!” wrote one. Another agreed, “You all need to get Meghan on the podcast.” A third added, “Petition for Meghan to come on the podcast, please!”
While it’s uncertain if the Duchess of Sussex will make a podcast appearance, Patrick mentioned that she has shown her support, saying, “Meghan was one of the first to reach out with a lovely text message, saying she’d love to come and help in any way possible,” he shared on Today.
Suits ran for nine successful seasons, but both Patrick and Meghan left after the seventh season. Meghan announced her departure from acting in November 2017, when she and Prince Harry became engaged. Her Suits co-stars, including Patrick, Sarah, Gabriel Macht, Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman, and Abigail Spencer, attended her royal wedding in Windsor.
Although Meghan has reportedly no plans to return to acting, she is developing a Netflix series that celebrates cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship, where she will serve as an executive producer.
Following her departure from Spotify, where she hosted her Archetypes podcast, she has also signed on with Lemonada Media to create a new audio series.
