According to The Mail’s Richard Eden, Tatiana is “tired of strangers” frequently mistaking her baby girl for a boy.
Eden wrote, “Lady Tatiana Mountbatten, a relative of the royal family, is fed up with people assuming her daughter Elodie is a son. ‘I’ve stopped correcting people when they say, “What a sweet little boy” or ask, “What’s his name?”‘
Tatiana explained, noting that she often dresses Elodie in blue. ‘The lack of hair doesn’t help,’ she added.”
Lady Tatiana, the daughter of the Marquess of Milford Haven, welcomed Elodie in September last year and shared the happy news a month later, writing, “One month of motherhood… and what a month it’s been! Elodie arrived on 20th September. It’s already going far too quickly.”
Just days ago, Tatiana revealed that she and her husband, Alexander ‘Alick’ Dru, are expecting their second child. She announced the exciting news on Instagram, sharing photos of her growing baby bump, including a radiant image from a Max Mara event.
The couple married in July 2022 at a grand ceremony in Winchester Cathedral. Alick had proposed earlier that year during a romantic ski trip to Verbier.
The engagement announcement in The Telegraph read: “The engagement is announced between Alick, son of Mr and Mrs. Bernard Dru of Bickham, Somerset, and Tatiana, daughter of the Marquess of Milford Haven and Lady Spencer of Alresford.”
