Social media influencer Julian Barboza was arrested earlier this month following an altercation with his girlfriend at a Beverly Hills party, TMZ reports.
According to law enforcement sources, police were called to the party around 2:00 AM. Barboza’s girlfriend alleged that the couple had a heated verbal argument during which he asked her to leave.
The situation escalated when she began recording the argument on her phone. Barboza is accused of grabbing the phone and smashing it to the ground, causing damage.
As the argument continued and the girlfriend attempted to leave, Barboza allegedly shut the door, injuring her hand in the process.
Officers questioned Barboza at the scene before arresting him on multiple charges, including robbery for taking the phone, vandalism for damaging it, and domestic violence due to the hand injury.
Barboza was booked and later released after posting $50,000 bail. The girlfriend’s phone has not been recovered, and authorities continue to investigate.
