Elon Musk’s estranged transgender daughter has announced her plans to leave the United States following Donald Trump’s re-election victory.
Vivian Jenna Wilson, 20, severed ties with her father in 2022 after filing a petition to legally change her gender and remove Musk’s last name.
Now, she is seeking to distance herself from the U.S. after Trump’s return to power, a campaign her father publicly supported.
“I’ve been considering this for a while, but yesterday solidified my decision. I don’t see my future in the United States,” Wilson shared on Threads following the election outcome.
She added, “Even if Trump’s term lasts only four years and anti-trans policies don’t materialize, the people who willingly voted for this are here to stay.”
Wilson, one of Elon Musk’s six children with his first wife, Justine Wilson, has previously criticized her father, accusing him of being absent and unsupportive of her transition.
