In a live TikTok video on Election Day, the 46-year-old businessman responded to a follower’s question about his plans once the election results are announced.
“If we don’t win, I’ll probably, you know, given how the Democrats operate, have to fly to a non-extradition country so I don’t end up in the gulags with Elon [Musk] and everyone else,” Trump Jr. joked, with filters appearing on his face. He added that he was “only partially kidding” about the statement.
Reflecting further, he commented, “If you’ve been watching the other side, you realize that is probably only partially kidding.”
He also shared his wish to spend “a week in a tent somewhere,” though he acknowledged that wouldn’t be possible if they won.
Trump Jr. ended the video saying, “One way or the other, we’ll either be busy, relaxed, or in hiding.”
