Donald Trump was joined by his glamorous daughter Ivanka for the first time this campaign as he celebrated a historic victory in the US election.
Ivanka, 43, made a special appearance at her father’s Mar-a-Lago election watch party, witnessing his remarkable political comeback.
The Republican leader’s stage was filled with family support, including his other daughter Tiffany, 31, sons Eric, 40, and Donald Jr., 46, and granddaughter Kai, 17. Ivanka’s sisters-in-law, Lara Trump (Eric’s wife) and Kimberly Guilfoyle (Donald Jr.’s fiancée), also took part in the celebrations.
Wearing a blue velvet suit, Ivanka smiled alongside her husband, Jared Kushner, as she listened to her father declare, “Frankly, this was, I believe, the greatest political movement of all time.”
Trump expressed gratitude for his family, thanking his “beautiful wife” Melania and his “amazing” children. He said, “I want to thank my whole family, my amazing children – and they are amazing children.”
He continued, “Now we all think our children are amazing. Everybody here thinks their children are amazing – but that’s a good thing when you think they are. But Don, Eric, Ivanka, Tiffany, Barron, Lara, Jared, Kimberly, Michael – thank you all.”
This marks Ivanka’s first public appearance during her father’s campaign amid growing speculation that she might consider returning to politics.
Ivanka and Jared Kushner had previously kept a low profile throughout the campaign, with Ivanka receiving some mockery after sharing the “16 lessons” she had learned as she turned 43, hours before the election, while her siblings were on the campaign trail.
“I love my father very much,” Ivanka had said at the time. “This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.”
At the election party, Ivanka was on the sidelines as her father thanked the American people.
Trump declared, “Look what happened – is this crazy?” before pledging, “I will fight for you and your family and your future, every single day I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body.”
Lara stood by Trump’s side as he made history, wearing a sheer black top and black slacks.
Meanwhile, Trump’s granddaughter Kai took to social media to congratulate her grandfather, posting a picture from Mar-a-Lago with the caption: “No one works harder or cares more about the American people. Congratulations Grandpa, I love you!” Kai has gained social media attention for her impressive golf skills.
