At a campaign rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, former President Donald Trump took aim at Beyoncé, criticizing her for endorsing his opponent and mocking her recent appearance at a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris in Houston.
Wearing an orange and yellow vest reminiscent of a previous event tied to President Biden’s “garbage” comments, Trump seized the moment to ridicule the iconic singer for not performing at the Houston gathering.
He claimed that Beyoncé’s lack of a performance resulted in both her and Harris receiving boos.
However, while Beyoncé did attend the event in Texas last Friday, she clarified that she was there as a mother supporting Harris’s campaign rather than as a celebrity performer.
Contrary to Trump’s assertions, there is no evidence of either Beyoncé or Harris being booed during the rally.
With a history of strong political endorsements and a loyal fanbase known as the “Beyhive,” Beyoncé’s political engagement has been well-established.
Her support for Harris and her attendance at the event highlights her continued influence in political arenas, despite Trump’s recent jabs.
