A 26-year-old woman, Siphesihle Precious Twala, was tragically murdered by an unknown gunman while breastfeeding her son in Geluksdal, Brakpan, South Africa.
The advocacy group Women For Change confirmed the incident in a statement on Tuesday, October 5, 2024. According to the group, the attack occurred on October 31, 2024.
It is reported that Siphesihle was seated in the passenger seat of a car, breastfeeding her child, when a man approached the vehicle and shot her four times in the head. The assailant fled the scene, and no arrests have been made.
Siphesihle leaves behind two young sons, aged one and four. The group expressed their deep sorrow over the loss, saying, “We are heartbroken over the loss of such a beautiful soul. Fly high.”
