A viral video circulating online captures the moment a man, identified as a parent, attacked a teacher in front of her students inside a classroom.
In the footage, the man is seen striking the female teacher, who is wearing a red blouse.
Another teacher quickly intervenes, separating them, but the man then turns his aggression toward the new teacher, wagging a threatening finger at her.
He can also be heard making threats in Yoruba to the other teachers present.
“Stop it,” the intervening teacher and others in the background are heard saying. “That’s very wrong. You’re fighting a married woman. In our school,” the teacher tells the parent.
“I won’t tolerate this. I won’t take it,” the attacked teacher is heard saying.
According to online reports, the incident occurred at Rosebud School in Idimu, Lagos State. Nigerians have tagged the Lagos State police on X, urging them to investigate the assault.
