The Prince of Wales has given a sneak peek into his latest endeavor, Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, a documentary with ITV.
The Prince of Wales, 42, shared a clip from the film on his official Instagram, where he discussed his inspiration for the project, sparking a wave of similar reactions from fans.
“I think it’s really important that we try to change and address the narrative around homelessness,” William explained in the video. “People live with it, we see it every day in our lives, and that’s something I want to challenge.”
Royal followers quickly flooded the comments, noting the striking resemblance between William and his late mother, Princess Diana.
“He looks like his mother. Same way of speaking. She would be so proud,” one fan wrote. Another added, “He honors her well. She would be so proud.” A third commented, “I’m so excited for this documentary. Your beloved mother, who took you to homeless shelters many times, must be so proud of you.”
Princess Diana had a deep commitment to homelessness issues and frequently took young William and Harry to shelters, teaching them about life beyond palace walls.
The upcoming documentary follows Prince William during the first year of his Homewards initiative, which seeks to address and eliminate homelessness in all its forms.
