The Major Clue Everyone Overlooked Before Princess Beatrice Announced Her Pregnancy

Congratulations are in order for Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who are expecting their second child together in early spring. Buckingham Palace announced the joyous news on Tuesday.

The official statement read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring; a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three. His Majesty The King has been informed, and both families are delighted with the news.”

To celebrate the occasion, the Palace released two new family photos, one featuring young Sienna enjoying a walk with Wolfie and Edoardo, and another capturing Beatrice, 35, and Edoardo, 40, in a romantic embrace.

The new baby will not hold the title of HRH and will be born 11th in line to the throne, pushing Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, to 12th. While the child won’t have an official royal title, they will carry the courtesy title of Count or “nobile donna,” as Edoardo is a Count.

But did the mother-to-be hint at her pregnancy earlier? Renowned for her elegant fashion sense and recently named Tatler’s best dressed of 2024, Beatrice has been elevating her outfits with stylish outerwear—a noticeable change that may have been intentional.

During her recent trip to New York, the red-haired royal showcased a series of chic ensembles featuring either a jacket or a coat. On Thursday, she exuded sophistication in a navy A-line skirt paired with a matching double-breasted blazer.

Earlier that week, she looked stunning in a black button-down ‘Milane’ mini dress from Sandro Paris, which she complemented with a suede tan trench coat.

Additionally, in mid-September, Beatrice was seen at a London event wearing a black-and-white polka dot dress by Crida Milano and a cropped jacket from the popular high street brand Zara.
