Mike Tindall celebrated his 46th birthday last Friday with a fun getaway alongside his wife, Zara. The couple attended the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona, where they cheered on Ben Ainslie’s Ineos Britannia team.
The former rugby star shared highlights from their trip in a TikTok video, which included personal snapshots with Zara. Among the photos was a sweet selfie of the pair bundled up in waterproof jackets and matching caps while watching the event from a sailing boat. Another picture showed them smiling as they sped along the Costa Brava.
In another shot, Zara, 43, dressed in a chic all-white outfit with a navy blazer, was seen toasting with a glass of champagne while on board with friends.
The Tindalls also reunited with Mike’s best man, former rugby union player Iain Balshaw, and his wife, Kate, for a night out in Barcelona. In the photo, Zara looked stunning in a black V-neck outfit, while Mike wore a blue shirt as the two couples posed together.
The weekend also included a nautical-themed birthday cake for Mike, courtesy of Ben Ainslie’s wife and sports presenter, Georgie.
Despite their team falling short as New Zealand retained the America’s Cup, Mike expressed his gratitude in the caption, writing: “What a birthday weekend!! Thanks to @georgieainslie @benainslie for having us along with the whole team @ineosbritannia! Gutted not to see the comebacks of comebacks but an incredible experience nonetheless. Barcelona rocked it also!!! @johnabassadone was simply the best host and @iainbalshaw brought the laughs!!”
