Queen Camilla made a stylish statement on the last day of her tour in Australia, stepping out in Sydney on Tuesday in a stunning royal blue ensemble.
The 76-year-old Queen looked graceful as she visited Refettorio OzHarvest, a social impact project by OzHarvest, Australia’s leading food rescue organization, in partnership with Food for Soul, an Italian-founded initiative.
Camilla radiated in a chic blue silk dress by Fiona Clare, paired with a delicate Van Cleef & Arpels dragonfly brooch and neutral-toned heels. Her blonde hair was perfectly styled as she greeted well-wishers, smiled for photographers, and engaged warmly with the organization’s volunteers.
The Queen’s visit to Refettorio OzHarvest marked the 20th anniversary of OzHarvest, a cause close to her heart as the Patron of UKHarvest. She was welcomed by OzHarvest’s founder, Ronni Kahn, who proudly showed her around, explaining how the project supports environmental sustainability and social inclusion.
In a heartwarming moment, Camilla joined the chefs in the kitchen, helping prepare meals by sprinkling herbs and edible flowers on dishes made from food that would otherwise go to waste. She praised the initiative, calling it a “wonderful idea” and “incredible.”
During lunch, Camilla joined the café’s clients, engaging in conversation and asking about the meal, which consisted of crispy potato hash with fermented chili, Persian feta, and heirloom tomatoes— all made from rescued food.
She also received a meaningful brooch from Ms. Kahn, symbolizing how small efforts, like a teaspoon of water in a fire, can make a big difference.
As she concluded her visit, Camilla mingled with staff and volunteers, sharing laughs with a barista who joked he was the “best man” on the team. She also charmed the crowd during an impromptu walkabout, even managing to coax a “hello” from a shy parrot named Caesar.
