Princess Eugenie Shares Heartwarming Sisterly Bond With Beatrice

Princess Eugenie recently opened up about her close relationship with her sister, Princess Beatrice, revealing that they often exchange parenting advice.

This insight comes shortly after Beatrice announced that she and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are expecting their second child, a sibling for Beatrice’s eight-year-old stepson, Wolfie, and three-year-old daughter, Sienna.

Eugenie expressed her excitement about becoming an aunt again, sharing that she regularly consults Beatrice about parenting challenges. “I call her a lot about meltdowns and various issues. When I was posting that photo on Instagram, I asked her, ‘What do you want me to say?’ because I always want to check in first.

She replied, ‘Can’t wait to talk about the trials and tribulations of motherhood.’ I shared about our parenting journey because it’s like joining a club—a mothering club. When your children are the same age and experiencing similar things, it’s the luckiest feeling in the world… And Bea is my big sister; I talk to her about everything.”

During her visit to Christie’s for the exhibition “Blue: Art for the Ocean,” showcasing works by 35 artists from around the globe to raise funds for the Blue Marine Foundation, Eugenie expressed her admiration for the gallery, which features a captivating photograph by Marina Abramović titled Performance for the Oceans, a piece in Lego by Ai Weiwei, and an oil on acetate artwork by Peter Doig.

In addition to being a devoted mother of two, Eugenie serves as an ambassador for the Blue Marine Foundation and shares her love for the oceans with her sons, August (known as Augie) and Ernest, whom she shares with Jack Brooksbank.

Although the boys are not yet aware of their new cousin on the way, Eugenie mentioned, “I haven’t gotten that far yet. I think Augie might notice the growing belly, but they don’t quite understand it yet.”

Eugenie became emotional while discussing how their mother, Sarah, Duchess of York, is “so happy” about the news.

The Princesses’ mother, Sarah Ferguson, is delighted with the baby news

“Mum is funny because she adores her grandchildren, but you can really see her pride in her two daughters. She says, ‘My babies!’ When you become a grandmother, you feel pride for both the baby and your child. She’s got a double whammy there.”

Christie’s Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale is scheduled for October 10, with the online sale running from October 1 to 15.
