A man, yet to be identified, collapsed and died following a marathon s*xual encounter with a woman at a guest house in Paiko, the headquarters of Paikoro Local Government Area, Niger State.
The guest house, reportedly owned by the Paikoro LGA, is situated within the bustling Paiko market, where traders from distant locations often stay. According to one trader, who spoke anonymously, the incident occurred on the night of Tuesday, October 15, after the man finished engaging in intercourse with the woman.
“The man had just finished with the lady and was putting on his trousers, as the lady explained to us, when he suddenly collapsed and died,” the trader told Daily Trust.
The woman involved has been arrested by the police, while the man’s body was taken to IBB Specialist Hospital in Minna. Efforts to identify him have been challenging, as he had no phone or form of identification with him. “This is the first time something like this has happened in our market,” the trader added.
SP Wasiu Abiodun, spokesperson for the Niger State Police Command, confirmed the incident. He stated, “A case of suspected sudden death was reported at Paiko Division. On 15/10/24 at around 8:50 PM, an unidentified male adult visited the LGA lodge with a woman and later collapsed. He was rushed to a nearby medical facility where he was confirmed dead.”
Authorities are awaiting the results of a medical autopsy and are working to locate the man’s relatives. The police have also shared a photo of the deceased, urging family members or friends to come forward for identification and necessary arrangements.
