Brazilian MMA fighter Guilherme ‘Bomba’ Vasconcelos, who once dated singer Demi Lovato, has tragically passed away at the age of 38.
His uncle, Walter, confirmed the news of his death, expressing the family’s grief: “We were looking forward to your visit for Christmas, which will no longer happen. Life is fleeting, and we woke up to this devastating news.
What a time we live in. We pray for you! May God, in His infinite mercy, welcome you and comfort all who have loved you!”
The cause of his death is currently unknown, though reports suggest he passed away in Los Angeles.
Just a day before his death was announced, Vasconcelos had posted a photo outside a Jiu-Jitsu studio on Instagram.
Vasconcelos, who dated Lovato in 2017, leaves behind a one-year-old daughter, whom he shared with model Kayla Lauren. Over his seven-year MMA career, he achieved a record of 10-6 in various promotions.
