Veteran actress Lola Idije has addressed the circulating rumors that her junior colleague, Biodun Okeowo, allegedly stole her daughter’s husband.
In a statement shared on her Instagram, Lola set the record straight, clarifying that Biodun did not snatch her daughter’s partner. She pointed out that she had attended Biodun’s wedding, which would not have happened if the rumors were true.
Lola also explained that the first time she spoke to Biodun’s husband was when Biodun introduced him to her over the phone, and none of her daughters knew him personally.
“I want to address the story going around since yesterday and to clear the air. The first time I ever spoke to Omoborty’s husband was when she introduced him to me on a phone call. I did not know him before that. None of my daughters know him personally.
“Biodun, aka Omoborty, did not snatch my daughter’s boyfriend. I attended the wedding. There is no way she would do that and I will still attend the wedding. Thank you and I hope this clarifies everything,” she said.
