The 45-year-old comedian was asked about his ties to Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, while heading to dinner with his wife, Eniko Hart, 40, at LAVO restaurant in West Hollywood last week.
When questioned about whether he had seen the now-infamous bottles of baby oil found at Combs’ home during the parties he allegedly “hosted” for the Bad Boy founder, Hart quickly denied any involvement.
“When I hosted for Diddy? You’re asking the wrong person the wrong question,” he responded.
When pressed further about Combs’ safety in jail, Hart continued to deflect, repeating, “Wrong person, wrong question,” before walking away with his wife and bodyguard.
Combs, 54, is currently in custody, awaiting trial after his September 16 arrest in New York on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
A federal indictment claims that since 2008, Combs had been abusing, threatening, and coercing victims for sexual exploitation, maintaining his image, and hiding his actions.
During raids on his Los Angeles and Miami properties, prosecutors uncovered evidence of Diddy’s alleged drug-fueled “freak off” sex parties, as well as electronic devices containing images and videos of multiple victims.
Authorities also recovered unmarked AR-15s, ammunition, and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and other lubricants.
