‘I Am Not A Threat To Community’- Sean Diddy Initiated Third Attempt To Secure Release From Jail

Music mogul, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs,, has initiated his third attempt to secure release from jail, with his defense team asserting his innocence and stating that all sexual encounters were “consensual.”

His legal representatives have submitted new documents claiming that Combs is “not a threat to the community” as he remains incarcerated on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.

Diddy has denied any wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges against him.

In a previous hearing, a federal judge in New York denied his bail request, citing allegations that he attempted to contact witnesses.

However, in the appeal filed today, Diddy’s attorneys argue that he reached out to a potential witness with that witness’s attorney’s approval.

They also asserted that several witnesses had actually contacted Diddy first, not the other way around.

The appeal references an unnamed victim, which based on context, appears to be Cassie, especially as it discusses a video that was leaked shortly after she settled her case.

Diddy’s legal team emphasized in their bail application that their client poses no flight risk, countering prosecutors’ claims.

He has also committed to refraining from contacting any further witnesses and has agreed to undergo weekly drug testing.

In their appeal, Diddy’s team contends that the case has been “sensationalized.”

They further claimed that Diddy has shown willingness to comply by surrendering his passport, selling his private jet, and offering his $48 million home as collateral for bail.

The United States Attorney’s Office will have time to respond to Diddy’s appeal, but it is unlikely to be heard in court this week.

The 54-year-old music mogul is currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, following his indictment for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution last month.

An attorney representing 120 individuals who have come forward with sexual misconduct allegations against Combs, Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee, stated that he anticipates filing lawsuits within the next month, primarily in New York and Los Angeles.
