The mother-daughter duo appeared in photos promoting Intimissimi’s Fall-Winter collection, where they modeled various lingerie sets, smiling and laughing for the camera.
In addition to the photos, they filmed a video where they took turns using an old camera to record each other, showing off the lingerie and touching the fabric of their lace outfits.
While Heidi has disabled comments on her Instagram, both Leni and the Intimissimi brand pages received backlash. Critics found the campaign unsettling, with one commenter writing, “Is it just me, or is this a bit weird? Who poses in lingerie with their mom? It just doesn’t work for me in an ad.”
Another person added, “This is really strange and inappropriate… mother and daughter filming each other in lingerie? What is this?”
Despite the negative reactions, some defended the Klums, arguing that they were simply showcasing their close relationship through their work. They’re just modeling.
They’re not doing anything inappropriate. It’s a mother and daughter modeling for the same brand,” one supporter commented.
