Residents of Kasoa, Ghana, nearly attacked Chinese road contractors following a rock-blasting incident on the Buduburam section of the Accra-Winneba highway.
The contractors allegedly detonated a blast without prior warning, leading to the reported deaths of four people. Normally, the residents are given advance notice of such operations to allow them to avoid danger.

However, on Monday, October 14, no warning was given, resulting in multiple fatalities.
In a video shared online, angry locals are seen escorting two Chinese nationals to the community leader.
At one point, a resident strike one of the contractors on the head with a stick, knocking off his helmet.
Other locals intervened, urging restraint and discouraging further violence.
