A young woman, Priscilla Ocheme, was tragically killed after leaving home to visit her boyfriend, and her family is now seeking justice, alleging that the police have freed the boyfriend.
The family reached out to activist Harrison Gwamnishu, sharing details of her death. According to their account, 24-year-old Priscilla, a former Madonna University student, went to visit a male friend at his home in Lugbe, Abuja.
She was later found dead, with blood on her face.
The incident was reported to the police, and the male friend was initially arrested. However, Gwamnishu claims that the police released him after he said Priscilla suffered an accident.
“The young man was arrested by the police, detained, but no autopsy was conducted on Priscilla’s body, and now the young man is walking free. He has been released from custody,” Gwamnishu stated.
A screenshot from the man’s Instagram shows that Priscilla had liked his posts, though this alone does not implicate him in her death.
Priscilla’s family is now calling for a thorough investigation into her untimely death.
