Grimes, the former girlfriend of Elon Musk, has stirred up confusion online by stating that her s*xuality changed after becoming pregnant.
The 36-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter shared her thoughts on the social media platform owned by her ex, saying, “I became way less gay after I was pregnant.”
Grimes, who shares three children with the Tesla CEO, noted that while her ability to focus on reading and writing improved, her focus on technical matters significantly declined.
She then posed a question to her followers, asking, “Is this all explained by hormones?”
When a follower suggested that her feelings of attraction might be influenced by being in a heterosexual relationship with a less agreeable partner, Grimes replied, “I feel like that [should] make me more gay tho.”
Grimes and Musk split over three years ago. They are parents to four-year-old son X Æ A-12 Musk, three-year-old daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, and son Techno Mechanicus, whose exact age has not been publicly revealed.
