In an interview with The Financial Times, Edoardo, who is dedicated to building his business empire, discussed how his demanding schedule often keeps him away from his wife, their three-year-old daughter, Sienna, and his eight-year-old son, Wolfie, from a previous relationship with Dara Huang.
Edoardo explained that his career requires frequent travel, taking him far from their Cotswolds home as he moves between design projects and travels to auctions and antiques-sourcing trips across Europe, including Belgium, France, and Italy.
Despite the distance, having a stable home for his family is crucial to him, especially given his own experience of moving frequently as a child. He noted the importance of interior design, saying, “Design is important to your emotional state.”
The ambitious entrepreneur founded his property company, Banda, in 2007 at just 23. The firm recently completed a collection of townhouses in London’s prestigious Leinster Square, and its projects span globally, with locations in New Delhi, Milan, the Alps, Los Angeles, and the Hamptons. Edoardo has also ventured into art and home decor with the launch of Banda Gallery, describing it as “just the beginning.”
Although his work takes him across the world, Edoardo is likely happiest at home with Princess Beatrice and their growing family.
The couple purchased a £3.5 million farmhouse in the Cotswolds in 2021, which features six bedrooms, several reception rooms, a guesthouse, and an outdoor pool, making it ideal for entertaining. Edoardo’s parents also live in the Cotswolds, allowing Sienna and Wolfie to be close to their paternal grandparents.
Before their countryside move, Beatrice and Edoardo lived in an apartment at St. James’ Palace, where they still stay when in London for work or royal engagements.
