Donald Trump criticized his predecessor, Barack Obama, for supporting Kamala Harris on the campaign trail.
Obama, 63, caught everyone off guard on Tuesday night, October 22, when he performed a rendition of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” at a rally in Detroit for Harris supporters.
“I think he’s a real jerk because I watched him campaign over the last few days,” Trump stated during a rally in Greensboro, North Carolina.
“Over the last couple of days, I saw him campaign, and what a divider he is. He divided this country; he couldn’t care less, along with his little group of people. He was terrible.”
Trump claimed that Obama began campaigning for Harris because “she’s incapable of campaigning.”
The Republican nominee suggested that the “exhausted” Obama was brought onto the Democratic Party campaign trail to attract larger crowds.
“They bring him out, and others, because no one shows up to these rallies, so they have to bring in these so-called stars. What happens is, these stars can draw a small crowd, but not like this,” Trump explained to his audience.
“They bring him out because they need help, as Harris cannot speak for more than 15 minutes.”
