According to People, the 44-year-old model and her Jiu-Jitsu instructor boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, 37, are expecting their first baby together, marking Bündchen’s third child overall.
“Gisele and Joaquim are excited about this new chapter in their lives and are looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the entire family,” a source told People magazine.
Bündchen shares two children with her ex-husband, retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady, with whom she finalized her divorce in October 2022.
Gisele began dating Valente in June 2023, about seven months after her divorce from Brady. The two were first seen together in November 2022 during a trip to the province of Puntarenas in Costa Rica, accompanied by her two kids.
Initially denying a romantic relationship with her trainer, their connection blossomed over time, and by February 2024, a source confirmed to People that they had been dating since June 2023.
In June 2024, another source told People that the supermodel has “blossomed” since her split from Brady, stating, “She is secure and happy, and so busy with her life that she doesn’t have time to dwell on the negatives out there.”
Earlier in February, a source mentioned, “They have been dating since June. They’re taking it slow. They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other.”
Brady and Bündchen divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage, agreeing to joint custody of their children.
The new baby will join her children with Brady: 14-year-old son Benjamin Rein and 11-year-old daughter Vivian Lake. Brady also has a son, 17-year-old John Edward Thomas, with his ex, Bridget Moynahan.
