A Dutch court ruled on Wednesday, October 23, that Bill Gates must face trial in the Netherlands for allegedly misleading the public regarding the safety of COVID-19 vaccines during the pandemic.
Reports indicate that seven plaintiffs, who claim to have suffered injuries from the vaccines, have sued Gates along with other defendants, including former Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla.
In a 2020 article, Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, stated, “We aren’t sure which vaccines will be the most effective yet, and each requires unique technology to make. That means nations need to invest in many different kinds of manufacturing facilities now, knowing that some will never be used. Otherwise, we’ll waste months after the lab develops an immunization, waiting for the right manufacturer to scale up.”
Gates is one of the “experts” who claimed that the vaccine would stop transmission.
The plaintiffs argue that Gates, through his connections with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Economic Forum, promoted vaccines that were allegedly unsafe as part of a broader agenda known as “The Great Reset Project.”
They contend that Gates made false claims about the vaccines, asserting that they would stop transmission, prevent illness, and eliminate the need for masks.
According to reports, Gates attempted to have the case dismissed, but the court rejected his motion, citing jurisdiction issues due to his status as an American citizen.
He has been ordered to pay the plaintiffs’ legal fees of €1,406.00 ($1,518.44) within 14 days, or face further penalties. A new hearing is scheduled for November 27, 2024.
In 2020, Gates cautioned that developing a COVID-19 vaccine is only half the battle. “Several vaccines are in human trials, but we don’t know which ones will work best,” he noted. “Countries must invest in different manufacturing facilities now, even if some won’t be used,” he added in an excerpt from an article on the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s website.
