Baby Shark Rapper, Ralan Styles, Tragically Died At The Age Of 22 in ‘Street Robbery’

Rapper Ralan Styles, known for his viral “Baby Shark” remix, has tragically died at the age of 22. According to reports, Styles, whose real name was Michael Robinson, was shot and killed during an alleged street robbery in Columbus, Ohio, early Saturday morning on October 19.

Witnesses claim the suspect attempted to steal Styles’ neck chain, leading to a confrontation that ended with Styles being shot multiple times.

The incident occurred in the Victorian Village neighborhood, and police were called to the scene just before 5 a.m. Despite efforts to perform CPR, Styles was pronounced dead at 5:10 a.m.

A 24-year-old man named Mahamood Hassan was arrested after witnesses provided a detailed description and identified him in a lineup. He has been charged with Styles’ murder and is currently being held at Franklin County Jail, awaiting his court appearance.

Styles’ brother, fellow rapper Lil Goat, expressed his devastation in a heartfelt Instagram tribute, writing: “Not my little brother… My heart is broken, I’ll never be the same.” He reminisced about their journey from rapping at the lunch table to becoming superstars, adding, “I love you bro, and as long as I’m alive, you’ll never die.”

Fans of Styles also shared their condolences in the comments section of the post.

Styles gained widespread attention in 2022 with his rap remix of the popular children’s song “Baby Shark,” which has garnered over 1.7 million views on YouTube. His other tracks include “Glocks and Raris,” “Bon Appetit,” and “Polyamorous.”
