In a recent appearance on Kelly Ripa’s podcast, Let’s Talk Off Camera, Lowe disclosed that he and Moore “briefly had a thing” in the 1980s as part of the renowned Brat Pack.
Lowe mentioned that their fling occurred in the mid-’80s, before Moore became engaged to fellow Brat Pack member Emilio Estevez.
He humorously described their connection as part of a “big, big sex orgy” involving the cast of the 1985 film St. Elmo’s Fire, in which they both starred.
The pair also collaborated on the 1986 film About Last Night, and reflecting on their chemistry during filming, Lowe remarked, “Anytime you put young 20-something men and women together, hookups are inevitable.”
Despite their brief romance, Lowe and Moore maintained a friendship, with Lowe even attending her wedding to Bruce Willis years later.
