As a reminder, Speed Darlington was arrested last Friday in Lagos and taken to Abuja, following a petition filed against him by Burna Boy.
While the specifics of the petition remain unclear, it is believed to stem from several videos in which Speed Darlington spoke out against Burna Boy. In September, he released a video questioning Burna Boy’s sexuality due to his close association with the troubled US singer Diddy.
Many Nigerians condemned Burna Boy for allegedly using the police to arrest and detain Speed Darlington, with some even labeling him an oppressor.
In a post on his Instagram, BabaRex questioned whether Speed Darlington could insult Burna Boy without facing any repercussions.
