Zimbabwe: Prophet Detained During Service For Allegedly K*ssing A Worshipper

Prophet Timothy Michael of the New Generation Church in Zimbabwe was arrested on Saturday, September 21, during a church service for allegedly kissing a female member of his congregation without her consent.

The unexpected arrest shocked his followers, with some initially thinking it was part of a sermon or a staged act.

Timothy Michael is now likely to face charges of sexual abuse.

When reached by H-Metro, Mashonaland West provincial police spokesperson Inspector Ian Kohwera mentioned that no formal report had been received yet.

However, senior church member Vongai Jowo confirmed the arrest but refused to offer additional information.

Sources close to the matter claimed this was not an isolated incident, accusing the prophet of having a history of inappropriate behavior toward female worshippers.
