Veteran Nollywood Actor, Emmanuel France, Reportedly Passed Away

Nigerian filmmaker, Olufemi Ogedengbe, shared the sad news on Instagram, describing France as a legend and a dear uncle.

Ogedengbe reflected on their time working together in Tanzania in 2006, where they collaborated on three films.

The details of France’s death remain unknown.

Expressing his grief, Ogedengbe wrote: “Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France.

“I had the privilege of taking him to Tanzania in 2006, where we shot three movies together: Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister, and The Director. R.I.P.”

Born in Ghana, Emmanuel France was a dedicated actor who had a passion for a film project titled Ghana Must Go, a story close to his heart. He appeared in numerous Nollywood films throughout his career.
