Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Pennsylvania on Sunday, September 22, for a pivotal visit to present his government’s plan for ending the war with Russia.
Zelensky stated that he would discuss Ukraine’s much-anticipated “victory plan” with President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and separately with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
“We have arrived in the United States of America,” Zelensky announced in a video shared on X.
“The victory plan for Ukraine will be presented to all our allies.”
He noted that he chose Pennsylvania for a “special visit” but did not provide details before traveling to New York and Washington.
“Ukraine will unveil the victory plan in the United States, and the President of the United States will be the first to see it in its entirety,” Zelensky stated in a video recorded on his flight to Pennsylvania.
He emphasized that he would share the plan with “all leaders of our partner countries,” as well as with the U.S. Congress and “both presidential candidates.”
“It is this fall that will determine the future of this war,” said Zelensky. “It will shape the legacy of the current generation of world leaders in the highest offices.”
