Prince Harry’s recent solo trip to New York sparked speculation that he and Meghan Markle might be separating their business ventures, with Harry concentrating on his royal patronages and charitable efforts, while Meghan focuses on launching her lifestyle brand.

However, sources close to the couple have clarified that their long-term plan has always included pursuing individual projects while maintaining a shared commitment to their Archewell Foundation.

A source said: “Harry and Meghan have consistently pursued solo ventures connected to their personal interests but remain deeply committed to their joint efforts through Archewell. Together, they have exciting projects ahead, all aligned with their shared mission for global positive impact.”

This past week, Harry participated in several engagements supporting his philanthropic initiatives and patronages, including Travalyst and the Archewell Foundation’s Parents Network. At one event, he spoke passionately about protecting children from the dangers of the internet, sharing that his phone’s lock screen features a picture of his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. He also appeared at panels for The Halo Trust, the Clinton Global Initiative, and Sentebale, with Meghan reportedly joining one event via FaceTime from Montecito.

Meanwhile, Meghan has been focusing on projects closer to home, supporting friends and preparing to launch her new brand, American Riviera Orchard. In the months following their departure from royal duties, the couple worked together on deals with Spotify and Netflix, appearing in the docuseries Harry & Meghan and promoting Meghan’s podcast, Archetypes, which she ultimately hosted solo.

Currently, they are also working on individual Netflix projects, with Meghan reportedly launching a cookery show and Harry producing a documentary on his favorite sport, polo.

Despite their solo endeavors, the couple continues to collaborate on the Archewell Foundation’s mission, recently contributing over a million dollars to initiatives such as Georgetown University’s gender justice initiative and a $100,000 donation to The Halo Trust.

Additionally, Prince Harry is set to return to Lesotho for the first time in six years to visit Prince Seeiso and attend a gathering of business leaders and philanthropists aimed at advancing the work of their charity, Sentebale.

Harry shared his excitement about the trip, stating: “As we approach our 20th anniversary, our ambition has grown, allowing us to leverage our experience to address the challenges faced by the next generation in southern Africa.”

Prince Seeiso added that the community would be overjoyed to welcome back Harry, affectionately known by his Sesotho royal name, “Mohale,” which means “warrior.”
