A gunman opened fire with an AK-47 while the former president was playing at the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach on Sunday just after 1pm almost exactly two months after a gunman tried to take out Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The Republican nominee was rushed to safety as Secret Service agents opened fire on the suspect who had a GoPro camera and backpack, along with his rife.

THE GUNMAN

The would-be assassin has been named has Ryan Wesley Routh, a registered Democrat, and is now in custody.

HOW IS DONALD TRUMP NOW?

Donald Trump is ‘safe and well’, he said in a statement. And he didn’t want rumors to ‘start spiraling out of control.’

WORDS FROM FBI

The FBI says it’s probing the ‘second attempted assassination’ on Trump…As it is, boats patrol Mar-a-Lago as security is ramped up after the attempt.

Trump, nevertheless, sends out message from his campaign.

‘My resolve is only stronger after another attempt on my life! I will never slow down.

‘I will never give up. I WILL NEVER SURRENDER! I thank God every day for having supporters like you on my side. On November 5th, WE WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!’
