The Princess of Wales may make her next public appearance at the National Service of Remembrance on 10 November. According to a recent report by The Sunday Times, Kate, 42, is hopeful to join King Charles and other members of the royal family at the Cenotaph in Whitehall.
It’s also suggested that the Princess, currently undergoing chemotherapy, plans to attend her annual Together at Christmas concert, usually televised from Westminster Abbey in December. While she’s not expected to accompany Prince William to this year’s Earthshot Prize awards in November, it’s understood that the mother of three has been working from home at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, holding regular meetings.
Over the summer, Kate enjoyed a break with Prince William and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The family spent most of their time at their Norfolk residence, Anmer Hall, near the Sandringham estate. In August, they were spotted playing with Nerf guns at Bear Grylls’ Gone Wild Festival at Holkham Hall.
In keeping with tradition, the family traveled to Scotland at the end of August to join King Charles and Queen Camilla at Balmoral. One of Kate’s most recent public appearances was on 25 August, when she was seen attending Sunday service at Crathie Kirk church. She was dressed for the cooler weather in a brown checked trench coat by Holland Cooper and a feathered hat by Hicks & Brown, accompanied by Prince William and Prince George.
With the summer holidays over, Kate and William’s children have returned to Lambrook School. Despite confirming her cancer diagnosis in March and reducing her public appearances this year, Kate has remained committed to supporting the charities and organizations she works with.
On 6 September, the Princess shared a personal written message on social media congratulating explorer and presenter Dwayne Fields on his appointment as the new UK Chief Scout.
“Delighted to welcome @DwayneFields as the new UK Chief Scout. The Scouts is such an incredible organisation, teaching #SkillsForLife and making a huge difference to young people across the country. Looking forward to working with you!” the Princess wrote in a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, signing off with her initial “C”.
