Reese Witherspoon enjoyed some rare quality time with her son Deacon Phillippe in New York City as she took a break from filming her hit drama, The Morning Show.
On Tuesday night, the actress, 48, and college student, who is set to make his feature-length film debut in the upcoming movie 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank alongside Liam Neeson, found time in their busy schedules to catch up.
Deacon, who is the spitting image of his father Ryan Phillippe, stuck by his mom’s side as they crossed the street together and strolled around the Big Apple together.
The actor, 20, sported a plain black t-shirt, Nike sneakers and a baseball cap over his wavy brown hair while giving Witherspoon a tour of ‘The City That Never Sleeps.’
Deacon has been living in New York City since starting New York University in 2022 and quickly began following his famous parents’ footsteps into acting.
In addition to appearing in two episodes of Netflix’s popular series, Never Have I Ever, Deacon released a 12-track album, A New Earth, last year.
Meanwhile, the Legally Blonde star has been busy shooting season four of The Morning Show with Jennifer Aniston in New York.
Witherspoon appeared in good spirits while out with her son as she opted to rock an open denim button-down over a knee-length black dress and sandals.
She completed her casual look with a brown leather crossbody, from the brand Loewe, and a baseball cap.
This marks the first time the pair have been seen together since news broke that Deacon, who is who is studying music, landed his first major role in a movie.
