Rapper Rich Homie Quan Passes Away At 34

Rich Homie Quan, the platinum-selling rapper from Atlanta known for hits such as “Type of Way” and “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),” has died at the age of 34.

TMZ Hip Hop has confirmed the news through his family and the Fulton County morgue.

The rapper, whose real name was Dequantes Lamar, passed away on Thursday, September 5, at his Atlanta home.

His family is deeply mourning his loss, describing themselves as “shattered and heartbroken.”

The cause of death has not yet been disclosed, and his family is seeking more information.

Rich Homie Quan rose to fame in 2013 with his hit “Type of Way” and went on to collaborate with prominent Atlanta artists like Young Thug, 2 Chainz, and Jacquees.
