Queen Mary Looks Stunning In A Over The Decade Re-Worn Silky Dress

On Wednesday night, Queen Mary dazzled at a gala dinner for the Royal Yacht Dannebrog officers, attending alongside her husband, King Frederik.

The 52-year-old Danish royal, originally from Australia, stepped out in a stunning satin dress she first wore a decade ago during the 200th anniversary celebrations of Norway’s constitutional independence from Denmark.

The timeless gown, featuring a blue and cerise pink pattern, a crew neckline, a subtly belted waist, and capped sleeves, highlighted her elegant figure. She completed the look with bold purple suede heels by Gianvito Rossi and carried a Bottega Veneta ‘Intrecciato Knot Antique Rose Silk Clutch.’

Queen Mary’s brunette locks were styled in a chic updo, adding to her sophisticated appearance.

Her Seafaring Style

The mother of four has showcased a series of stunning outfits throughout the summer sailing season. Earlier on Wednesday, Queen Mary officially disembarked from the Royal Yacht Dannebrog to close the season, wearing a striking navy suit from The Fold.

King Frederik’s wife enhanced her ensemble with patent navy heels and a surprising touch – a silk scarf tied around her ponytail.

Navy has quickly become her go-to color this season. On September 5th, Mary made an appearance at the Parade at Christiansborg Castle Square for Denmark’s Flag Day, where she wowed in a vintage-inspired Jane Atelier square-neck midi dress, paired with a wide-brimmed hat and pearls.
