Princesses Beatrice And Eugenie Unite For A Heartwarming Garden Party

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie spread joy during their visit to a special garden party at Haven House Children’s Hospice on Tuesday afternoon.

The royal sisters engaged with children, their families, and staff at the hospice in Woodford Green, Essex. They were welcomed with bouquets of flowers from sisters Annabelle and Eva Thomas upon arrival.

In an Instagram video posted by Eugenie, she shared: “I was so fortunate to visit Haven House Hospice with my sister today. Haven House Children’s Hospice in Woodford Green, London, provides specialist care for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. It was incredible to see their dedicated work and meet the children and families whose lives are positively impacted by the care and support here.”

In the video montage, Beatrice, dressed in a floral-print navy Erdem dress, and Eugenie, in a burgundy patterned frock, are seen interacting with children and planting a tree.

Beatrice, 36, praised the hospice during her visit: “This hospice stands as a beacon of love and support for many families. The compassion and care provided here are truly inspiring, and it’s a privilege to be part of this special day.”

Eugenie, 34, added: “Witnessing the strength and resilience of the children and their families today has been deeply moving. This hospice not only delivers essential care but also creates a space where joy and laughter can thrive, even in the most challenging times.”

The Princesses also planted a commemorative tree in the hospice’s garden, joining an arboretum that features over 100 trees planted by notable public figures, including Margaret Thatcher and Sir Winston Churchill. Their tree will stand alongside a hazel tree gifted by their late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, to mark her Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

Haven House Chief Executive Ralph Coulbeck expressed gratitude for the royal visit: “We are deeply honored to welcome Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie to our hospice. Their dedication to supporting children’s causes is truly inspiring, and their visit today has brought immense joy. The tree they planted will serve as a lasting symbol of hope and resilience for everyone who visits our gardens.”

The charity provides day care, overnight stays, end-of-life care, bereavement support, and life-enriching activities such as sensory play, music therapy, yoga, and physiotherapy, helping families create cherished memories.
