The rapper initially responded to a false tweet about her, which claimed, “Nicki Minaj confirmed ‘Roman In Gag City’ will be included on Pink Friday 2 deluxe.”
Nicki replied, “I must be the only person you can make money off mentioning. Go 1 day. Abeg. GO ONE FUCKING DAY WITHOUT FKNG LYING ABEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
A Nigerian user, surprised by her use of “abeg,” commented, “Who Dey teach Nicki Minaj pidgin language.”
Nicki responded, “Wetin be the confusion? I Dey have eyes o? I can read all the pidgin weh una pikin de put on my timeline every day. SUCKS TEETH LOUDLY”
