Nacho Figueras Honored Prince Harry With Heartfelt Tribute On His Birthday

Alongside personal messages from the Prince and Princess of Wales and King Charles, Figueras shared a touching post on Instagram featuring a candid photo of the two friends laughing together in their polo gear.

In his caption, Figueras expressed his gratitude for their friendship, saying: “Happy 40th, brother. From the polo fields to all the moments in between, I’m thankful for the bond we share. Here’s to many more laughs, memories, and good times ahead. Love you.”

Fans of the royal family responded warmly in the comments. One wrote, “Precious!! Happy Birthday Prince Harry!!!” Another commented, “What a beautiful friendship. Happy Birthday Prince Harry,” while a third added, “Love this, besties for life.”

Figueras and Harry’s friendship dates back to 2007, shortly after Harry co-founded Sentebale with Prince Seeiso to support children and young people in Lesotho. Figueras, an ambassador for Sentebale, has consistently praised Harry’s charitable efforts.

Their friendship deepened over the years, with Harry even sharing details about his first date with Meghan Markle with Figueras. Following Harry’s meeting with Meghan at Soho House, he dined with Figueras and his wife, Delfina Blaquier.

Figueras recounted in Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docu-series, “Right after they met, my wife, me, and him had dinner, and he said, ‘Guys I’ve met a girl. We just met, but I think this may be the one.’ You could see right away that he was in love.”

In recognition of their close bond, Figueras and his wife were guests at Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018.

Figueras also praised Harry’s dedication to Sentebale in an August 2022 interview with PEOPLE magazine, noting, “From day one, I saw how committed he was to his charity. Fast forward 15 years, I’ve been to Lesotho with him a few times and seen the incredible work the charity does. He genuinely cares about it and the kids it helps.”
