Melania Trump defends her n*de modeling work in a recent push for her upcoming memoir.
The former first lady, aged 54, addressed her modeling career in an Instagram post on Wednesday, September 18.
“Why do I stand proudly behind my n*de modeling work?” Melania asked in a voiceover. “The real question is, why is the media scrutinizing my celebration of the human form in a fashion shoot?”
She questioned whether society has lost its ability to appreciate the beauty of the human body. Melania’s voiceover was accompanied by images of famous artworks featuring n*de figures, such as Michelangelo’s “David,” Paul Cézanne’s “Bathers,” and John Collier’s “Lady Godiva.”
“Throughout history, master artists have celebrated the human shape, evoking deep emotions and admiration. We should honor our bodies and continue to use art as a powerful means of self-expression,” she argued.
Melania, born in Slovenia in 1970, pursued a modeling career before becoming a public figure.
