The Duchess of Sussex reunited with Oprah on Saturday night, taking the stage at one of the talk show host’s book club events in California.

Held at Godmothers bookstore in Summerland, the 43-year-old was one of several speakers alongside actor Marco Leone, psychological astrologer Dr. Jennifer Freed, and psychic medium Laura Lynne Jackson.

Photos shared on Instagram revealed that Prince Harry’s 2023 memoir Spare was prominently displayed at the event, though the Prince himself did not appear to attend.

Meghan, however, made a stylish impression, sporting a timeless tuxedo jumpsuit from Club Monaco, with her brunette hair swept into a low ponytail and accessorized with delicate diamond earrings.

Meghan and Oprah’s close friendship goes back years, with Oprah attending the Duchess’s 2018 wedding to Prince Harry at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

The couple later sat down for a revealing interview with Oprah in 2021 after stepping back from royal duties. More recently, Meghan and Harry joined the media icon at Kevin Costner’s ‘One805 Live!’ charity event in September 2023 at his $26 million polo field in Santa Barbara.

Currently residing in Montecito, Meghan and Harry have had a busy schedule. They recently returned from a four-day visit to Colombia, which bore similarities to an official royal overseas tour. This marked their second major trip of the year, following a three-day visit to Nigeria at the invitation of the West African nation’s chief of defence staff.

Back in California, Meghan has been focusing on her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. After a soft launch in March, she has encountered a recent setback.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office denied the brand’s trademark application, stating that “American Riviera” is a commonly used nickname for the Santa Barbara area, and geographic names must be left free for other businesses to use. Despite this hurdle, Meghan plans to offer a variety of products through her label, including jams, yoga equipment, and kitchenware.
