Laura Loomer, 31, has vehemently denied having an affair with former President Donald Trump, while also making a shocking claim about Vice President Kamala Harris’s rise to power.
The far-right activist and conspiracy theorist used her podcast to dismiss the rumors as “malicious” and “disrespectful” to both Donald and Melania Trump.
Loomer called the allegations part of a media conspiracy and argued that if she were a left-wing journalist, the outcry would be much different, accusing the media of trying to “Monica Lewinsky” her.
Loomer also took a jab at Kamala Harris, suggesting that the Vice President had advanced her career by sleeping with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, a claim Harris has denied in the past.
Loomer, contrasting herself with Harris, said she had no interest in using relationships with powerful men to climb the political ladder.
Concerns about Loomer’s association with Trump arose after she accompanied him on his plane to a presidential debate and joined him at September 11 memorial services. She has faced backlash for her controversial past, including promoting the idea that 9/11 was an “inside job” and making racist comments about Harris’s heritage.
Late-night host Bill Maher fueled speculation by suggesting that Loomer and Trump might be faking a relationship to influence voters, a claim Loomer fiercely denied, threatening legal action against Maher for defamation.
Trump, too, has rejected the idea that Loomer has any influence over his campaign.
