Johnny Depp, 61, appeared to have undergone major dental work in a new video circulating on Instagram, depicting his recent trip to a Bahamian bar.
The Oscar-nominated actor’s dental hygiene came under scrutiny last year at the May 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where he was pictured on the red carpet in promotion of his film Jeanne du Barry….Fans said he looks just like Captain Jack Sparrow with his ‘rotten’ teeth.
Now in a new clip uploaded to Instagram Thursday, a bartender by the name of Rap Rap Zoilo, under the handle @killerbartender, Depp was seen smiling, sporting a much healthier set of teeth than past outings which drew scrutiny from fans.
In the clip, Rap Rap Zoilo shared a friendly exchange he had with the actor at Lorraine’s Cafe in the Exuma district of the Bahamas.
The bartender captioned the post, ‘jacksparrow meets the killerbartender of exuma bahamas … once in a lifetime moments with mr jonhny Depp.’
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor in the clip acknowledged a painting of his character Captain Jack Sparrow, greeted people in the establishment, and stepped behind the bar to mix a drink with the bartender.

Fans of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor complimented his rejuvenated appearance after the apparent dental work he underwent.
‘He looks so happy! And healthy and LOOK he got his teeth fixed!!!!!’ one fan said.
Another said, ‘Now there will be no one who can say anything bad about @johnnydepp’s teeth … he has a beautiful mouth, a very healthy appearance.’
