Ghana: Pastor Advises Men That If They Are Not In A Courtship, They May Have Multiple Girlfriends

Pastor Elvis Agyemang, founder of Grace Mountain Ministries, has sparked a significant discussion with his recent remarks on relationships.

He suggested that dating multiple partners is permissible as long as it does not involve courtship.

In his sermon, Pastor Agyemang stated that it is “perfectly acceptable” to have several boyfriends or girlfriends while dating.

He explained that this approach allows individuals to explore their options and avoid rushing into relationships without fully understanding their partner, which often leads to heartbreak.

“Dating multiple people helps you identify your preferences and make more informed decisions about your future partner,” Pastor Agyemang said.

However, he emphasized that once a relationship moves into courtship—a stage typically leading to marriage—the commitment should be exclusive.

He cautioned that dating multiple people during courtship is “inappropriate and dishonourable.”
