George Clooney to the rescue as he sprung into action at the premiere of his new film Wolfs after a photographer took a tumble in front of him.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Hollywood legend, 63, was walking the red carpet with wife Amal Clooney at Venice Film Festival on Sunday when he spotted the accident and was quick to rush over and help.

Crouching down and offering his hand, the Oscar-winning star helped the photographer to his feet while Amal, 46, watched on.

George then ensured that the photographer would get a series of great snaps as he pulled hilarious facial expressions on the red carpet before giving the job a go himself and grabbing the camera.

While he was larking around, Amal was the epitome of elegance as she strode past in a yellow corseted gown.

The dress was constructed from delicate lace and nipped in at her waist before falling into a dramatic ruffled skirt.

She styled her hair into a voluminous blow dry and carried a glitzy box clutch bag to top off her glamorous look.

Wrapping her arm around George, the couple looked as loved-up as ever while posing for photos at the highly-anticipated movie.

GEORGE’S ROLE IN THE MOVIE

In the film George joins Brad Pitt to play criminal ‘clean up’ specialists who are unexpectedly hired for the same job – disposing of a body in a hotel room.

Leading men Brad and George were reportedly paid $35 million each to act in the caper film, and had insisted on a release in cinemas.

But makers Apple had a change of heart and the film, which insiders say cost up to $200 million all in, is now only being released in cinemas in the US for one week.
