In a recent interview with Lex Fridman, former U.S. President Donald Trump admitted that he occasionally regrets some of his posts on Truth Social, the platform he co-founded in 2021.

However, he noted that these moments of regret are rare.

When asked if he ever second-guesses his more controversial posts, Trump acknowledged that while he does have some regrets, they don’t happen often.

“It’s only every once in a while,” he said, adding that he’s generally confident in the posts he writes himself. He admitted that most of his regrets stem from reposting others’ content, which sometimes causes issues due to the affiliations of the original posters.

Trump also praised the success of Truth Social, referring to it as his “typewriter,” and revealed that he sometimes posts from bed.

Despite occasional second thoughts, he stood by the overall mission of the platform and its “powerful truths.”

One post he might regret involves a recent re-share featuring Vice President Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton, with a controversial caption that sparked backlash.

The post, which included a provocative comment referencing their careers, received significant criticism.
