Duchess Sophie Attend Concert By The Drakensberg Boys Choir In Red Hot Fit-And-Flare Dress

The Duchess of Edinburgh pleasantly surprised royal fans this week by trading her usual pastel tones for a striking red midi dress, and she looked more radiant than ever.

The 59-year-old dazzled in the Valentino ‘Crepe Couture Midi Dress’ while attending a Drakensberg Boys Choir concert at Wells Cathedral. The elegant dress featured a fit-and-flare silhouette, a stylish fitted collar, and gold button detailing.

As always, Duchess Sophie styled the look flawlessly, pairing the dress with soft pink Jimmy Choo ‘Rosalia’ leather pumps. She accessorized with a silver clutch and sparkling drop earrings, adding just the right amount of glamour. Her signature relaxed updo and soft glam makeup completed her chic ensemble.

The Duchess has been turning heads with her fashion choices recently. Earlier in the week, she embraced workwear chic during the opening of the Domaine Evremond Winery in Kent. Sophie looked impeccable in a Vince Houndstooth trouser suit, featuring a relaxed double-breasted blazer and wide-leg trousers, paired with Jimmy Choo burgundy patent pumps.

To complete the look, the mother-of-two wore a selection of silver jewelry, including the necklace from her engagement photoshoot with Prince Edward.

Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie’s Love Story

The couple, married for 25 years, got engaged in 1999 when Prince Edward proposed with a stunning Asprey and Garrard white gold ring, featuring a two-carat oval diamond flanked by heart-shaped gemstones, reportedly worth £105,000.

The couple tied the knot in June 1999 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, a favorite royal wedding venue also used by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank for their ceremonies in 2018.
